Our hard-hitting, news-gathering brethren at The Onion have been hard at work this year putting together not one, but two new television shows for your entertainment and education. That's right, off the printed page and the tiny monitor, and straight into your cable box. (Then, hopefully, from your cable box to your TV.)
First out of the gate will be Onion SportsDome, which debuts on Tuesday, January 11 at 10:30 p.m. Eastern on Comedy Central. SportsDome will render all 25 ESPN channels irrelevant in the space of just 30 minutes.
Then, on Friday, January 21 at 10 p.m. Eastern, IFC will gives its cablewaves over to Onion News Network, a hard-hitting, take-no-prisoners news show hosted by Brooke Alvarez. Start paging through your DVR menu now, and get yourself a season pass. Below, you'll find a promo for ONN.
