Tyler, The Creator has a new cartoon about violent, foul-mouthed jellyfish

Tyler, The Creator is expanding his TV comedy empire, building on the modest success of his now-ended Adult Swim sketch series Loiter Squad with The Jellies, a new animated comedy written by Tyler and his Loiter Squad cohort Lionel Bryce. Animated by Augenblick Studios, the team behind some of the most wonderfully demented animation of the last decade, the show is ostensibly about some kind of plot involving a boy adopted by aquatic invertebrates, but mostly seems to concern itself with screaming, violence, and perversion, delivered at as rapid a pace as humanly possible. Those elements will be perfectly welcome to long-time Creatortionists (which is what we’ve just decided fans of Tyler, The Creator are now called), who will presumably enjoy seeing jellyfish brawl, terrorists make idiotic demands, and polar bears get ripped limb from limb.

Fans of the rapper, writer, and performer’s comedy are going to have to go the extra mile to see The Jellies in all their glory, though; the series will only be available through Tyler’s Golf Media app.
