U2 adds Beck as an opener on The Joshua Tree tour
Beck—who is going out on tour this summer, but still hasn’t announced a release date for a new album—will also be spending some time with U2. He’ll be opening for the band on the extended leg of their nostalgic tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Joshua Tree, according to Pitchfork.
During the concerts, which kicked off in May, U2 has been performing its landmark album in its entirety. Other openers have included Mumford And Sons and OneRepublic. Beck heads out on the road with the band in July. A new record from the Morning Phase artist is expected to arrive sometime this year.
