U2 leaks, Oberst gets prolific, Dave Matthews loves Craig Finn

None of these necessarily warrant a newswire post of their own, so let's gather them all together here, shall we?

U2's upcoming No Line On The Horizon (due March 3 in the U.S.) has apparently leaked due to the fault of the band's Australian record label. It's apparently found its way to file-sharing networks, but we haven't heard it yet. Stereogum seems to be giving it a cautious nod. And though we haven't bothered to listen yet, it looks like you can stream the whole thing on the band's MySpace page.

Conor Oberst just announced the release of another Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band record, fairly hot on the heels of last year's pretty good self-titled disc. This one is called Outer South, and we have heard it. (Or at least I have.) It features a lot of songs with dudes who are not Conor singing lead.

And finally, Dave Matthews Band will release a new record on June 2, and will tour this year with various cred-building opening acts, including several dates with The Hold Steady. Did your indie head just explode? I can't make fun of DMB here, because I think I've only ever heard one song of theirs, "Crash."
