U2 working on a new record

U2 has reunited with long-time producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois in a Dublin studio to work on a new record. According to Billboard the band previously spent time with Eno and Lanois in France and Morocco to work on new material, and apparently there could be enough songs for two albums. "We've had some exciting beginnings via jam sessions," Lanois tells Billboard. "Now we will pick our favorite beginnings and say, 'OK, that's a lovely springboard. Now what are we trying to say?' The springboards are sometimes melodic, sometimes riff-based, but I can assure you they are exciting."
