U2 working on "club-sounding" album
It’s been more than a decade since U2’s electronica-tinged experiment Pop, but Bono tells Rolling Stone the time is apparently right to make another “club-sounding record.” (What club? Just, you know, the clubs.) The group is apparently working on that now but first plans to release another rock record along the lines of its last few releases, as well as Songs Of Ascent, which draws from the recording sessions of 2009’s No Line On The Horizon—an album made not for the clubs, but for the streets.
