Unplugged rehashed
Guess what! Stuff from the '90s is now considered vintage. On September 18, Columbia/Legacy will re-release four "vintage" MTV Unplugged albums from the olden days of Bill Clinton and chain wallets. (Oops, sorry, didn't see you were still wearing one.) Getting the expanded CD/DVD reissue treatment are Mariah Carey, Alice In Chains, and Bob Dylan. Rounding out the list is Tony Bennett's Unplugged from 1994, a disc Billboard says "introduced his music to a new generation of listeners in the throes of grunge." Yeah, remember when we traded in all our Soundgarden CDs for Tony's Sings His All-Time Hall Of Fame Hits?
