UnREAL’s first season is really ending

Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, August 3. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

UnREAL (Lifetime, 10 p.m.): Another Monday, another chance for UnREAL to take the Top Pick spot yet again. Leading up to the season finale, Lifetime is running a marathon of the entire first season, starting with the pilot at noon. So if you somehow have yet to jump on the bandwagon of this piercing, thrilling series, there’s still time. As the teasers have been telling us all week, Britney’s back to wreak havoc on those who wronged her. Adam makes a life-changing decision; Rachel is betrayed; yep, it looks like UnREAL is pulling out all the dramatic stops for its finale. We don’t know how we’re going to make it through the rest of the year without Quinn and Quinn’s threats and Quinn’s very strong airplane looks, but at least season two is already a guarantee. To pass the time while waiting for the finale, just stare at this excellent photo of Quinn presumably telling off Chet:

Also noted

Odd Mom Out (Bravo, 10 p.m.): Just nearly knocking UnREAL out of its Top Pick status this week, the very hilarious Odd Mom Out also wraps up its first season, with Jill having to make the ultimate decision between Brooke and Vanessa when the former’s prom-themed gala for a charity to stop childhood obesity falls on the same day as the latter’s birthday party. Jill, pick Vanessa! Brooke has fancy hats, but they with about a million strings attached!

Significant Mother (The CW, 9:30 p.m.): Oh hey, it’s that new CW show about a man who discovers his mom is dating his best friend. This couldn’t possibly get weird at all! The pilot is called “Welcome To Bonetown,” so between that and the show’s title, Significant Mother already has zero chill. In her pre-air review, Molly Eichel calls the series out for trying way too hard.
