UPDATE: Webcasters, industry work out temporary fix

Yesterday, a federal appeals court declined to postpone the date—July 15—when web broadcasters will have to start paying increased royalty rates for streaming music. As we've mentioned before, this could put some webcasters out of business. However, Wired News reports, some webcasters and the recording industry have worked at a deal—though it's not final—that could soften the impact. (Hollywood Reporter via Reuters)
