UPDATED: Kanye West saves fans the trip, cancels remaining tour dates

Kanye West has been touring for about three months now, having kicked off his “Saint Pablo Tour” in Indianapolis back in August. That’s a lengthy stretch, one that’s seen the platinum-selling artist cut shows short to deal with his wife, Kim Kardashian West, being held at gunpoint, as well as after falling ill mid-The Life Of Pablo. Whether all that performing is starting to wear on West or he just thinks these post-election times aren’t tumultuous enough, the Chicago rapper has been ratcheting up the tension in the final leg of his tour.

Last Friday, he told fans at his San Jose, CA show that he would’ve voted for Donald Trump—that is, if he had even voted—even though the only point on which the two men seem to agree is in not maintaining one. West followed that up by railing against Beyoncé and Jay Z on Saturday, then calling it a night after just 30 minutes onstage. Then, since it looked like he wasn’t too focused on performing, West just went ahead and canceled Sunday night’s show in advance, according to Variety. Ticketmaster made the announcement yesterday, but there’s been no formal statement about the cancellation from West’s camp. And don’t bother going to Twitter, because West gave up his phone for room to create even more music he’ll presumably refuse to perform on his next tour.

I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create

UPDATE: It looks like Kanye West is cutting both his tour and his impromptu speechifying short. According to The New York Times, the remaining dates on the Saint Pablo tour have been canceled. It’s undoubtedly a bummer for fans, but at least the Times reports that Live Nation has stated tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
