UPDATED: Multiple people have been shot at a T.I. concert in New York

Billboard is reporting that multiple people have been wounded at a New York City concert being performed at by the rapper T.I., after shots rang out in Manhattan’s Irving Plaza ballroom tonight. At least three people have been hurt; in at least one case, the injuries have been reported as fatal.

T.I. was apparently on stage when the incidents occurred, at roughly 10 p.m. Eastern time. Police have cordoned off the venue, but it’s not clear if any arrests have been made.

UPDATE, MAY 27: The identity of the person killed has been confirmed as Ronald McPhatter, a.k.a. B$B Banga, who worked as Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave’s bodyguard. Ave, meanwhile, has been officially charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to the NYPD.
