UPDATED: The Parks And Recreation finale will pay tribute to Harris Wittels

Among his many comedic accomplishments, one of late comedian Harris Wittels’ most high-profile gigs was serving as executive producer on Parks And Recreation. (He also wrote several key episodes and played Harris The Animal Control Guy on the show.) And considering the Parks And Rec crew’s reputation as one big happy, huggy family is well established, it’s no surprise—but still quite nice—that the show is planning a special tribute to Wittels at the end of its series finale. Described by Deadline as “a We Love You, Harris message” from the cast and crew, the tribute should bring the Parks And Rec finale to heretofore unimaginable levels of emotion. Be sure to have tissues ready when the hourlong series finale of Parks And Recreation airs on NBC tomorrow night.

UPDATE: Parks And Recreation co-creator Michael Schur—a.k.a. Ken Tremendous—is also encouraging fans to donate money to Wittels’ alma mater, The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas, in his honor.
