Football-themed series Necessary Roughness came up short, found a way to lose, lost focus, and shot themselves in the foot, as after three seasons, the show has been cancelled by USA. Producers don't want to point fingers, but say they failed to take things one episode at a time, let the show get away from them, couldn't stop the big play, didn't have their heads in the game, left it all out on the field, got killed by turnovers, were out-hustled, didn't play like they were capable of playing, lacked mental toughness, and didn't give 110 percent. On the upside, now Necessary Roughness has plenty of time to spend on the golf course.
