In a calculated move exploiting Comic-Con’s weakness for Bruce Campbell, USA announced at its Burn Notice panel that the network is developing a prequel to the series focused on the military past of Campbell’s Sam Axe character. The project will be an original movie, not a full series, but anything that puts the focus on Bruce Campbell can only be a good thing. In response to the news, Campbell is quoted as saying, “What do I have to say about that? I have to say that USA finally got their shit together,” which is awesome.
