Vampire Diaries creator developing "supernatural drama" that sounds like but is not Supernatural

Having somehow found success in 2010 with a TV show aimed at young adults featuring sexy vampires, The Vampire Diaries creator Kevin Williamson is now looking to double-down at The CW with a companion drama described as “The X-Files meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” which we’re pretty sure already exists as some horrible fan-fiction somewhere out there. It's probably quite dirty. Anyway, Williamson's as-yet-untitled “supernatural drama” would focus on a group of (presumably young, possibly attractive) people who investigate supernatural happenings. Somehow, The CW’s Supernatural is never mentioned.
