Vampire Weekend announces its new album via a New York Times classified ad

Vampire Weekend has announced a title and a release date for its third record. The particulars about Modern Vampires Of The City—due out May 7, just like the new Fall Out Boy and She And Him records—were dropped via a classified ad in The New York Times over the weekend. The band also announced a large tour, including previously announced stops at SXSW and the Coachella Festival. Both a full list of dates and an album tracklist are below.
