Vikings renewed for a fourth season of sex, blood, and salted fish
Ragnar Lothbrok will live to raid another day. The History Channel has renewed Vikings, with the show’s fourth season beginning production in Ireland sometime this Spring. Currently the No. 1 show on cable on Thursday nights with the DVR crowd, Vikings draws about 4.3 million viewers a week, all of whom must be bloodthirsty Norsemen (and shield maidens) capable of rowing long distances and fiercely fighting until Odin welcomes them to Valhalla. Or they’re just couch potatoes who like watching that stuff and can’t wait until Game Of Thrones comes back.
There are currently five more episodes remaining in the third season of Vikings, which has its season finale set for Thursday, April 23.
