Vintage live material from Nirvana, Tom Petty and The Rolling Stones on the way

Rock fans will have something besides turkey and football to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, as a few beloved acts clean out their vaults. First up, on November 3rd: a four-disc box set reissue of The Rolling Stones' 1969 live album Get Your Ya-Ya's Out (referred to by legendary critic Lester Bangs as "the best rock concert ever put on record"), including the original record, bonus tracks, bonus performances by the Stones' opening acts B.B. King and Ike & Tina Turner, and a DVD of tour footage shot by the Maysles brothers for their documentary Gimme Shelter. Out the same day: Nirvana's Live At Reading, a DVD and CD containing the band's legendary 1992 performance at the Reading Festival in the UK. And later in November (though no release date's been officially announced yet), Tom Petty will be releasing The Live Anthology, a four CD set of live performances drawn from across his career. The Live Anthology will also be available in a deluxe edition featuring a bonus disc of songs, a vinyl LP containing a 1976 concert, a DVD of a 1978 gig, a DVD about the recording of WIldflowers, and a Blu-ray disc containing all the set's songs.
