Trend time! Earlier this week, Wired's always-interesting Listening Post blog tracked the resurgence of vinyl, citing evidence that it might even threaten the staying power of the CD. Indeed, at least a modest number of artists and indie labels have begun to release vinyl-digital packages, skipping over the CD entirely, or just including one as an afterthought. And, of course, the 7-inch will probably never cease to be trendy.
