Vision and Scarlet Witch are getting their own Disney+ show, too

Good news for anyone who watched last summer’s Avengers: Infinity War and thought, “Why are we spending all this time on Wakanda and Spider-Man, when we could be having more hotel-based relationship talks with Vision and the Scarlet Witch?”: Marvel’s ongoing plans to build limited Disney+ TV shows out of some of its more “available” MCU stars are continuing, with THR reporting that the studio has lined up a writer for a series about the star-crossed superhero couple.

Specifically, Jac Schaeffer, one of the writers on this spring’s Captain Marvel, has been tapped on a writer and showrunner on the series, which would launch as part of the Disney+ brand. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are both on board to reprise their roles as the two Avengers, although given that these shows are all going to launch after this summer’s Endgame, it’ll be interesting to see where the status quo rests for them. Other shows on the Disney+ docket include one based around Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, and another pairing up Cap sidekicks Falcon and Winter Soldier. Disney+ is expected to launch in late 2019.
