Variety reports that 20th Century Fox is currently developing a sequel to Oliver Stone's 1987 Wall Street as a potential starring vehicle for Michael Douglas, who would reprise his Oscar-winning role as "greed is good" guru Gordon Gekko. (Score 25 alliteration points!) Stone is not involved as either writer or director, however, with the screenplay being written by Stephen Schiff (the upcoming Leatherheads). The just-announced project is tentatively titled Money Never Sleeps. Yeesh. Let's hope that's very tentatively.
