Walton Goggins joins Ant-Man And The Wasp
When Justified wrapped in 2015, we lost, among other things, one of the greatest adversarial relationships on TV, that between U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins). The two men were on opposite sides of the law, though Raylan was happy to venture to enemy territory to get the job done. We’ve mostly processed our grief over the end of the Elmore Leonard adaptation, especially now that Olyphant’s found a new career in comedies, while Goggins has found a new sparring partner on Vice Principals. Now comes news that the toothy actor—Goggins, that is—has found another project worthy of his charms.
Deadline reports Goggins has just joined the cast of Peyton Reed’s Ant-Man And The Wasp. Like so many other details about the production—aside from its equal billing—the Sons Of Anarchy alum’s role is being kept under wraps, but we can already picture him shooting the shit while planning a heist with Scott Lang (Rudd) and Luis (Michael Peña). Then again, given his work on The Shield and the forthcoming Tomb Raider, Goggins could have a more dastardly edge in the sequel. In either case, we’re bound to love-hate him. Ant-Man And The Wasp flies into theaters July 6, 2018.
