Watch a funny, production- and Ed Norton-heavy sketch cut from last week’s SNL

It’s always a little confounding to try and figure out why Saturday Night Live airs the sketches it does and cuts others. That’s certainly the case with “Tweets,” the sketch cut from this past weekend’s Woody Harrelson-hosted episode. A fairly large production number featuring gymnasts, dancers, confetti cannons, an appearance from God himself (played by Harrelson, of course), and a cameo from a very real and very kissy Edward Norton, “Tweet” is a smart and funny tribute to inane Twitter culture. Starring Aidy Bryant as a particularly verbose Internet user with 44 loyal followers, the sketch has some especially funny lines, especially the bit that follows God calling Bryant’s excessive tweeting “the greatest miracle.” Watch it below, then tweet about it. #OMG.
