Guitarist Travis Simpson recorded a medley of every Megadeth track, from every Megadeth album, in the order they were released. Spanning nearly 20 minutes, three decades of work, and 160 tracks of varying quality, Simpson shreds through each song’s signature phrase in just under 20 minutes.
Yes, it appears to be a single take; no, he’s not including all the songs that Dave Mustaine wrote for Metallica. Considering that Simpson plows through each track with the same velocity and robotic precision that bandleader Mustaine burns through guitarists, maybe this should be considered an audition.
