Proving once again that she is goddamn charming, goddammit, Adele joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots last night to perform a version of her hit single, “Hello,” on classroom instruments. In the video, below, the gang packs into an office full of kazoos, glockenspiels, and woodblocks for a version of the song that’s markedly more whimsical than the original, with Adele even using a neon green plastic flip phone to act out some of the song’s more illustrative points. Combine this clip with Saturday Night Live’s Adele plan for racist relatives and you should have a slightly easier Thanksgiving to look forward to this year, hopefully.
