Boston’s Kingsley Flood is the latest band to burst, violin and trumpet in hand, onto the roots rock scene. The group is making its Newport Folk Festival debut this summer in support of its new full length, Battles, and has released an absolutely charming video in support of its latest single, “Sun Gonna Lemme Shine.” The clip was inspired by a recent New York Times story about boys wearing dresses and features 25 sassy 7-year-olds who might just have a future in music video acting.
