Watch Breaking Bad's Bob Odenkirk dissect the ads of other sleazy lawyers

Litigiousness, greed, vanity, self-delusion, and shoddy workmanship. It's hard to decide which quality best epitomizes the American Dream, and they're all adequately represented in the low-budget lawyer commercials that have become a staple of our afternoon television experiences. Maybe that's why they never cease to fascinate. Here, Bob Odenkirk—who’s made a few parodies of those ads as Breaking Bad’s lovably amoral Saul Goodman—sits down with Julie Klausner to dissect a string of commercials featuring "small-time lawyers advertising their wares" and discuss what makes them work. Some combination of stupidity and fear seems to factor in to the magic formula. [via Vulture]
