Watch Chris Pratt try, fail to bring a velociraptor on a flight

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, J.A. Bayona’s forthcoming sequel to the tepid 2015 blockbuster, has made it more than clear that, this time around, it wants us to feel bad for the dinosaurs. That presumably means that Chris Pratt’s pint-sized pal Blue will play a sizable role in the proceedings, which we’re all for if it means spending less time with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s cardboard heroes. (Sorry.)

Blue sits at the centerpiece of the above sketch from College Humor, which finds the aforementioned couple trying to bring the budding beast on a flight as a service animal. “I get anxiety and I need her to calm me down,” Pratt’s Owen Grady tells the harried flight attendant. In a conversation that unfolds exactly as one would at an actual airport, the flight attendant then asks for proof that Pratt and Howard can control the monster, which, of course, they can’t. Uh-oh!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom dropped its final trailer last month, so we’ll have to wait until it premieres on June 22nd to see whether Blue is truly on the level or if, like its forefathers, simply being a “clever girl.”
