While Courtney Love arguably has a great deal more than 99 problems, an aversion to playing an atonal cover of Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” isn’t one. The Hole singer warbled the song—multiple instances of the N-word and all—during an appearance last week at the Sundance Film Festival. She even put her own twist on the lyrics, ending the song by growling, “I got 99 problems, but being a bitch ain’t one.” It seems 175 Facebook users disagree.
In a video of the performance posted to YouTube, Love said her cover was either “genius” or it totally sucked. Watch and judge for yourself.
