Watch Emma Stone impersonate Britney Spears, perform magic

One of the weirder bits of ongoing online content is Vogue’s 73 Questions series, in which a camera crew and interviewer follow a celebrity around a location (usually, but not exclusively said celebrity’s house) while asking them questions. Given how tightly the videos have to be choreographed, the interviews are clearly heavily scripted. And while some celebrities can make that weird Q&A process look natural, others fumble under the pressure. So while Daniel Radcliffe, Blake Lively, Lupita Nyong’o, and Nicole Kidman have all mostly nailed it, Simone Biles, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea, and an especially parody-worthy Victoria Beckham have dropped the ball. Emma Stone is the latest celebrity to be thrown into the 73 Questions gauntlet and, thankfully, she joins the former camp rather than the latter.

Stone invites the Vogue crew into her apartment, which immediately ups the video’s voyeuristic quality. And she’s pretty good at handling the format with the right combination of self-deprecation and absurdity. Although she’s not asked to play ping-pong like Radcliffe, Hula-Hoop like Nyong’o, or do a back flip like Reese Witherspoon, Stone does record a pretty solid Dubsmash, puts her dog in a raincoat, and absolutely nails a Britney Spears impression. And without making it sound too much like she’s just reading from a script, she also reveals that she’s cried in front of Diane Keaton, Tom Hanks, and Lorne Michaels because she was so starstruck. That Stone caps the whole thing off with a magic trick (kind of) is just icing on the cake.
