A show about a show, 30 Rock also loved to speak in the language of other shows. Sometimes movie references in 30 Rock came to us dressed in a Princess Leia costume complete with side buns and holding a copy of Playgirl. Sometimes they were subtler, dropping in as an insult or quip at the end of conversation between mentor Jack and mentee Liz.
