In the new video for Hot Chip’s “Don’t Deny Your Heart,” what begins as a friendly bout of video-game soccer quickly becomes something both bizarre and bizarrely uplifting. Without giving too much away, the game takes on a life of its own (to the bewilderment of the band members), the players are transported to the Dimension of Dance—where seemingly anything can, and does, happen—and everyone involved is swept up in a surreal, inter-dimensional cyclone of football and sex.
