Watch Robin Thicke perform "Blurred Lines" with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots
Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” has been a number one hit for most of the summer, and its ubiquity has been solidified by Jimmy Fallon. Thicke joined Late Night's Fallon and The Roots for a backstage performance with classroom-style instruments last night. Fallon did the same with Carly Rae Jepsen's “Call Me Maybe” last summer, and Mariah Carey also joined Fallon last Christmas for a rendition of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Even with its lack of naked women and giant hashtags, the performance is kind of endearing. Fallon once again rocks out on the woodblock (though he could have just used the app), and Thicke arguably puts on the sexiest spoons performance of his time. MC Black Thought also jumps in with his own rhymes to replace T.I.’s verse.
