Watch Sharon Van Etten get down with some naked people in her new video
Sharon Van Etten just released a video for her song "Magic Chords," and it features a whole lot of pubic hair. In the clip, an eerily subdued, bonnet-clad Van Etten enjoys a day in the woods with her best pals: a vanishing posse of sleeping naked bodies. They encircle her as she kneels on the forest floor, blankly staring into the distance. They limply float next to her as she takes a swimming break in a nearby lake. Then they disappear to return to nature's womb, or something. The clip was directed by Rick Alverson, who also directed The Comedy, starring Tim Heidecker—itself due for wider release next month.
Van Etten is currently on tour to promote her latest album, Tramp. North American dates are below.
