Watch Sir Patrick Stewart do a quadruple take

Aspiring actors would pay thousands of dollars for a master class with Sir Patrick Stewart, but he’s currently giving one away for free on YouTube. The video, posted by Stewart’s girlfriend, demonstrates how to do a single, double, triple, and—the rarest of all—a quadruple take. “It’s a different style of physical comedy,” explains the rather goofy Stewart before jumping into the demonstration. Stewart tweeted the video himself, adorably expressing a hope that Sir Ian McKellen doesn’t mind that Stewart borrowed one of his lines (the duo are set to perform No Man’s Land and Waiting For Godot in rep on Broadway starting October 26th).

Then again, the whole thing might have been for naught as Stewart readily admits, “That might have been actually the quintuple take because I lost count halfway through.” Whether he’s advocating for women’s rights, playing Star Trek in the Twitter office, or tweeting hilarious photos of himself, the 73-year-old actor is proving delightfully adept at social media. Great job, Internet indeed.
