Watch Slayer’s “Raining Blood” played on children’s instruments

In the hands of children, musical instruments can open new doorways to creativity and expression—and they can also sound horrible. In the hands of the right adults, children’s instruments can open an awesome-sounding doorway to the concert hall of Lucifer himself.

The A.V. Club recently covered a couple of guys from the Pasquale Guitar Company ripping through medley of Slayer riffs using toy store-grade instruments. It also looks like it was shot using a toy store-grade video recorder. And now drummer Drew Creal is back, and he’s focused his efforts on a single Slayer song, “Raining Blood.” The production values are upped and the performance is tighter than a First Act pink drum.
