Watch someone's parents lose it after seeing Les Misérables

Comedy maestro Mel Brooks famously said, “Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you walk into an open sewer and die.” Proof of both parts of Brooks’ axiom was provided by Russell Crowe today via Twitter, when the star of the recent film adaptation of Les Misérables relayed a video from Cinema Blend featuring a family totally losing it in the car after seeing the movie. “At the end, his eyes…he was old!” bawls the mother, struggling to keep it together despite being clearly and earnestly moved by Victor Hugo’s infamously lachrymose tale of love and loss.

Luckily for the rest of us, her son was on hand to film her and his similarly moved father, because is there any joy greater than watching people cry on the Internet? [via Screen Crave]
