When Teyana Taylor—singer, dance fitness enthusiast, and totally fucking ripped star of Kanye West’s “Fade” video—had her now very cute, very chubby baby Junie in December 2015, it was in a fairly unusual way: At home, as a surprise, with her now-husband Iman Shumpert of the Cleveland Cavaliers doing the catching. While stories of that birth have circulated for a while—namely, that Shumpert had to tie the umbilical cord off with a Beats By Dre headphone cord—it turns out the story is really best from Taylor’s very own mouth.
In the video above, Taylor colorfully recounts Junie’s birth on MTV’s Ridiculousness, much to host Rob Dyrdek’s glee. Taylor apparently thought she just had to poop, and while she did poop three times before Junie’s birth, the fourth time proved to just be baby Junie’s head sliding on out to take a look around. It’s both a hilarious and a cautionary tale for those who are pregnant and/or planning to be pregnant, if only because it’ll make you start keeping more string in your bathroom.
