Watch that Shia LaBeouf music video with a far more appropriate song
The music video for Sia’s “Elastic Heart” is the gift that keeps on giving. First, it led to an apology from Sia to those who were perturbed by seeing 12-year-old Maddie Ziegler dance fight with noted weirdo and Cabaret-enthusiast Shia LaBeouf. Here’s the video in question for those that haven’t seen it:
Now the video has led to an excellent mash-up by Paul Trillo (and/or TheManOwl) of the video with Rob Cantor’s song “Shia LaBeouf.” What was originally meant to represent the warring sides of Sia’s personality now becomes a much more literal encounter with a psychotic LaBeouf. In fact, if LaBeouf ever becomes a pro-wrestler (following in the footsteps of another actor/weirdo, David Arquette), this video and song would be a perfect intro as he marches to the squared circle to deal out pain to his latest victim.
Dubbed the “Elastic Cannibal” remix, the music of Cantor’s song matches up excellently to the movements and storyline of Sia’s music video, with Ziegler emerging triumphant from having faced down that most dangerous of foes—a cornered Shia LaBeouf.
