Mark Hamill may be best known for whining about Toshi station and voicing Batman’s arch-nemesis, but his humble, gracious nature has earned him a special place in the hearts of fans. He’s one of the few genre stars who might attend Comic Con even if he wasn’t signing autographs or speaking on a panel. But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t fantasize about having the gruff standoffish exterior of a certain plane-piloting co-star. At least, that’s the gist of this short skit from YouTube user Olilord.
Watch as our favorite Jedi simply wants to peruse a conspicuously convenient encyclopedia collection, while being beset by a gaggle of devoted fans. Rather than pulling a Shatner and giving his admirers the heave-ho, a surprisingly diminutive Hamill calls upon the force to redirect their attentions towards a scruffy-looking nerf-herder who might have the heart to say “no.” It’s charming and brief, but compared to his role in Episode VII, it feels like an extended soliloquy.
