Although B.J. Novak’s Ryan has been more or less reduced to a background player on recent episodes of The Office—save for the occasional Wuphf.com plug—he’s (fittingly) all over the show’s multimedia content, as in this new series of webisodes called “The 3rd Floor.” Here he recruits Ellie Kemper’s Erin and Mindy Kaling’s Kelly for his latest attempt at self-aggrandizing diversification: a horror movie starring Erin as a crazed slasher (with “the right arm of Lizzie Borden, the left arm of Jeffrey Dahmer, the heart of Jack The Ripper, and the legs of every serial killer who got away”) stalking the cubicles of Dunder-Mifflin.
