We have a new Game Of Thrones podcast, and we think you're going to like it
Have you heard of this show called Game Of Thrones? We hear it’s pretty popular in the U.K. … oh, you have heard of it? As have literally millions of people around the world? Well, that’s great, because we’ve got a new podcast that breaks down the highly anticipated final season of this worldwide TV phenomenon, and we’d like to share it with you.
The first episode of Winter Is Here With The A.V. Club featured managing editor Caitlin PenzeyMoog and myself, senior writer Katie Rife, discussing the parallels between Game Of Thrones’ very first episode and its season eight premiere, “Winterfell.” This week was admittedly less thematically cohesive, but it does have some pretty exciting predictions for who might come crawling out of the crypt at Winterfell this Sunday, if I may say so myself. And this coming Monday, I’ll be back to talk about what could be the biggest bloodbath this show has ever seen with film editor and noted heavy-metal fan A.A. Dowd, who will more than likely have thoughts on the overall metal-ness of the episode.
