We love the improv spirit of Let’s Make A Deal (but less singing, please)

A couple of our resident game show fans, John Teti and Jeopardy! champion Marah Eakin, dropped in on Let’s Make A Deal yesterday as the show celebrated the 1,001st episode of its CBS daytime run. The show is a looser, sillier counterpart to The Price Is Right (which follows Deal on most CBS affiliates), and our editors appreciate the improvisational vibe—which is no accident given that the game’s host and announcer are both Whose Line Is It Anyway? veterans. John also has a nitpick about the editing of the show, and Marah passes judgment on the deal-making decisions of one self-proclaimed “super-mom.”
