We may as well watch this James Comey thing together
This morning at 10 a.m ET/9 a.m. CT, fired FBI Director James Comey will testify before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence on whether Donald Trump attempted to obstruct an investigation into Russia’s influence on the 2016 election—a sequence of events that is, according to Trump’s best, most ardent defenders, “dumb” and “wrong,” but hey, it’s not like the president was even aware of what he was doing. As with so many things about this exhausting reality show of an administration, the hearing has become a major media event that’s being billed as a “political Super Bowl,” or maybe D.C.’s Bachelorette finale, inspiring watch parties around the nation. And because no one seems to be able to focus on anything else at the moment, what the hell. Let’s watch and talk about it together!
