Sunday’s Emmy Awards featured big wins, historic moments, and huge surprises, most notably, the appearance of disgraced former White House press secretary Sean Spicer. The choice was, to put it mildly, puzzling. While Spicer may no longer work in the administration, he was still complicit in its actions, whether he was actively defending Hitler, insulting veterans, or just being not great at his job.
