Despite falling ratings, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. is having arguably its most creatively inspired season yet. True, the mini-arcs of season four have lacked the emotional core of a battle with Daisy Johnson’s parents, or a former colleague turning into a world-threatening Inhuman parasite, but Ghost Rider was a welcome addition to the super-powered series.
