Weekend box office: best viewed through binoculars

It doesn't look like the Aqua Teens will be upgrading from Carl's pool this time around—their film wallowed cultishly in 13th place, earning only $3 million in its first weekend. Apparently whining and voyeurism are bigger with the kids these days than infantile/awesome cartoon adventures, as the surprisingly adequate thriller Disturbia debuted at the top, with a $23 million score. The weekend's only other strong opening, Perfect Stranger, came in fourth, taking about half what Disturbia made. Will Ferrell's Blades Of Glory held strong in second place in its third week, and Disney's Meet The Robinsons went down a notch to a respectable third.
