Weekend box office: Spidey predictably stronger than zombies

The better part of Spider-Man 3's audience apparently got its fill on its opening weekend, but that didn't keep it from the top, as its take dropped to $60 million. Filled as they may be with rage, the implacable zombies of 28 Weeks Later lumbered into a distant second place with about $10 million. You can tell you're still in that awkward phase before summer blockbuster season really gets going when a film like the dysfunctional-family comedy Georgia Rule follows up in third, making $5 million. Disturbia's proving fairly tenacious in fourth, and beyond that comes a less-than-robust muddle of comedies (Hot Fuzz, Delta Farce) and thrillers (Fracture, The Invisible, Next).
