“Weird Al” announces new batch of dates for his Mandatory World Tour

Last year, audiences all over the world were thrilled by “Weird Al” Yankovic’s Mandatory World Tour, thanks to Yankovic’s delightful parody tunes and the fact that everyone in attendance was required by law to enjoy the show. Unfortunately, Yankovic has noticed that some people out there failed to recognize that attendance for the Mandatory World Tour was—hence the name—mandatory, so Yankovic is giving all of the scofflaws out there one more chance to straighten up by adding a ton of new tour dates. At this point, it’s not clear what will happen to people who still refuse to see one of these shows, but there’s a very good chance that they’ll be spending the rest of their lives in one of Yankovic’s comedy gulags.

In other “Weird Al” news, the new Comedy Bang Bang bandleader/co-host will soon be getting a career-spanning box set featuring digitally remastered versions of all 14 of his studio albums.
