Somewhere amid answering The A.V. Club’s 11 Questions and making the four other music videos he’s premiered this week, “Weird Al” Yankovic completed the clip for “Sports Song,” one of the most polarizing tracks off his new Mandatory Fun. The mish-mash of various fight songs either cuts to the heart of a team’s “we’re good and you’re not” mentality, or it takes a swipe at people who take sports too seriously, depending on who you’re asking. Either way, whatever, this video is also good.
